2012 National Public Service Award Winner: Chief Operating Officer, U.S. Government Accountability Office, assists the Comptroller General of the United States in providing leadership and vision for this legislative branch agency. She is responsible for day-to-day management to ensure that GAO, “the Congressional Watchdog,” effectively supports Congress in meeting its constitutional responsibilities.
