The Global Campaign for Violence Prevention promotes the adoption of a public health approach to violence prevention, and provides a platform for collaboration and the exchange of information between actors at global and country level. It focuses on different areas of violence prevention, including child maltreatment, youth violence, intimate partner violence, elder maltreatment, and armed violence prevention.The Violence Prevention Alliance (VPA) is a network of WHO Member States, international agencies and civil society organizations working to prevent violence through the Global Campaign for Violence Prevention.
