Firefighting: Benjamin Franklin Fire Service Award for Valor
Description
The award recognizes firefighters around the world for their expert training, leadership, heroic actions and safe practices. Named after Benjamin Franklin, the nation’s first fire chief, it is the highest honor bestowed by the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC). Since 1970, the award has recognized the spirit of service, courage and heroism that is a proud tradition among the world's fire and emergency service.
