Miami Freedom Tower

Description

The Freedom Towers were designed by Schultze and Weaver. It hosted The Miami News newspaper headquarters and printing facility from 1925 to 1957. The building was used from the early 60s to 1972 as a facility to provide services to recently arrived refugees who fled to the United States from the Cuba's communist regime. The building was designated a U.S. National Historic Landmark.
